Dr. Ilmoon Park , (Dr.Moon)
DMD, General Dentist
Dr. Ilmoon Park brings a unique global perspective to his dental practice, having lived in Panama, Brazil, and South Korea before moving to the United States in 2001. His passion for dentistry began in his teenage years after witnessing his grandmother’s struggles with dental and medical issues. Motivated to make a difference, he began shadowing a general dentist and volunteering at a local hospital.
Dr. Park earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degrees from Nova Southeastern University. Since graduating in 2011, he has practiced in a variety of settings—including private, group, and corporate practices—in Dunnellon, Ocala, and Orlando.
In 2015, Dr. Park purchased the long-standing practice of Dr. Thomas Johnson, which had served the community for over 40 years. After taking over, he rebranded it as Moon Family Dental Care and has been proudly treating patients ever since, continuing the legacy of personalized, compassionate care.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Park has pursued extensive continuing education in both general and implant dentistry, both in the U.S. and internationally. He has also expanded his clinical expertise to include the use of Botox for managing TMJ disorders and facial pain. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and Global Academy of Osseointegration (GAO). He is also passionate about integrating the latest dental technologies into his practice.
Dr. Park is married and a proud father of two—his 9-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son. On weekends, he enjoys spending quality time with his children.
